More tricks and suggestions to handle the increasingly competitive Scenario of cracking aptitude exams and making it to one of the top Business Schools in India.

This Blog post will provide certain "Best Practices" when it comes to cracking Entrance exams. Now you don't have to follow them to the dot but try to align your preparation to them.

1) ENJOY THE RIDE

a) Yes!!! you read it right, the problem with people is that they consider the preparation a burden , something that restrains them from having fun. This kind of mindset creates negativity in the mind of the aspirant.

b) Thus studying with a positive attitude helps a lot.

c) STUDYING IN GROUPS can be one of the ways to reduce boredom; The forums for interaction can be social media, tuition center groups or just hangouts at each others house.

e) Your social circle increases with friends sharing the same goal,  there is an environment of bonding and mutual learning which makes the whole journey into B-school a little less painful and mundane.

2) MODERATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

a) A lot of people immerse themselves into pile of books to prepare aptitude exams. Well here is a guess What moment...all of that is not required. CAT, SNAP, GRE, GMAT are reasonably easy examinations to crack and require just basic understanding and application of concepts.

b) Apart from Clear understanding of the concepts on also needs to have a sharp "presence of mind"

c) The focus while preparing for an exam should not be to solve 100 easy questions but to solve 10 quality questions that would prepare you for that one very difficult question that would give you the edge over the others.

d) Thus, focus on QUALITY RATHER THAN QUANTITY.

3) BE FOCUSED AND PRACTICE TILL THE END.

a) Always be focused on what you want. Remember just entering into an MBA college is not your ultimate goal. Making through the rigorous curriculum of an IIM is a daunting task in itself. Keep your self motivated, even if one exam goes for a toss, there are a whole lot of others, that will help you enter other Premiere B-schools. Thus always hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

b) Look at a question from all possible angles; try to come up with better solution for every problem, discuss with your peer groups. All these things keep you motivated till the end.

Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Just to summarize the three things that I wish to put across all the readers :
